Professor Mofeed Shehab

Graduated from the University of Alexandria in 1956 and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a PhD from the University of Paris in 1963.

He held several positions including:

- Former President of Cairo University.

- Former Minister of Higher Education.

- He served as Minister of Parliamentary Councils.

 - Legal Affairs in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

- Egyptian lawmen, and participated in defending the issue of Egypt to recover Taba.

- And is one of the most famous men of law under the former president.

- Posamine was honored: a Knight Medal from Italy and a medal from France legion D'honneur.

 

His scientific experience:

 

- Member of the Student Association of International Law, 1962.

- Member of the National Committee of Taba 1984-1988.

- Member of the Egyptian defense in the case of Taba before international arbitration 1986-1988.

- Member of the Legal Committee of the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Cairo 1985.

- Member of the International Arbitration Tribunal in The Hague 1988.

- Chairman of the Arab Affairs, Foreign Affairs and National Security Committee of the Shura Council 1989-1997.

- President of Cairo University 1993-1997.
